Challenge

The New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet wanted to increase the number of people who did not come into the office during peak hours.

Insight

Creating a competition would mean that people did not need an excuse to use flexible working arrangements. It would be the default.

Approach

We worked with DPC to develop a competition in which teams competed to come into the office at off peak times.

Result & Impact

We increased the number of people that came in during off peak hours. Importantly, people didn’t end up working longer or shorter hours either!
