BIT has been working in Latin America and the Caribbean since 2014. In fact, our first project outside of the UK was in Guatemala, where we partnered with the national government to increase tax compliance three-fold.
Today, our expert team is deeply embedded in the region. We collaborate with all levels of government, international organizations, and civil society organizations to develop sustainable solutions to policy challenges using a behavioral insights approach
Our projects span across a wide range of issue areas, from promoting sustainable tourism to expanding access to early childhood education. We’re tackling increasingly complex problems as well, like COVID-19 vaccination uptake and intimate partner violence.
We deliver most of our work in the region in Spanish and have capacity to do so in Portuguese and French.
