Evaluate & test changes

We use the best possible evidence, but we also take nothing for granted. That’s why we evaluate the effects of interventions wherever possible. 

To do this, we run rapid, low-cost randomised controlled trials in complex, real-world settings and conduct sophisticated online trials using our bespoke Predictiv platform. We are also skilled in the full range of evaluation approaches, and often use mixed methods and quasi-experimental designs – whatever is appropriate and feasible for your question.

We don’t just assess our own interventions. We have a strong track record of being asked to run independent evaluations of projects designed by others, whether qualitative or quantitative. For example, we have run many evaluations for the UK’s world-leading Education Endowment Fund.
