Ben is an Advisor working across BIT’s home affairs and international programmes. At BIT Ben primarily works on projects across security, defence, policing, justice, social cohesion , peacebuilding and interventions and evaluations using video and audio content. So far his work with BIT has been in the UK, Nigeria, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
Before joining BIT, Ben was a parliamentary researcher and Chief Executive of a community-based charity in Cambridge. Prior to that, he worked briefly in Myanmar for the British Chamber of Commerce.
He completed an MSc with distinction in Economic and Social History and a first-class BA in History from Oxford University. He was also part of a team who jointly won the inaugural IPPR Economics Prize in 2019.
