Carolin is an Associate Advisor at the Behavioural Insights Team, focusing on consumers, energy and sustainability. Before joining, she worked as a visiting researcher in the climate policy department of the German Institute for Economic Research. Carolin obtained her Master’s in Public Policy, which focused on quantitative policy analysis, at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where she also worked as a research associate on energy and infrastructure governance. Prior to that, she was a trainee with the European Central Bank. She completed her undergraduate degree in Transatlantic Relations and Economics at Sciences Po Paris and McGill University in Montreal.
