Chris Wright


Chris is an Advisor on consumer policy, currently focusing on digital markets, regulated sectors and vulnerable consumers. He joined BIT in April 2019 after nearly five years in central government. In his time at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Chris managed a large research project on improving consumers’ understanding of terms and conditions and was the lead analyst on digital competition. He also led analysis on areas of labour market and business growth policy. Chris was the top student in each year of his BSc in Economics at the University of East Anglia and obtained a distinction in MSc Economics at Birkbeck.
