Senior Research Advisor
Dilhan is a Senior Research Advisor working across the Home Affairs and International programmes. He has led intervention design and evaluation across a range of policy areas and geographical contexts, including the UK, Bangladesh and Ethiopia. His work uses field experiments, online experiments, mixed-method process evaluations, theory-of-change development and forecasting.
Before joining BIT, Dilhan worked as an economist and policy advisor at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Australian Treasury, where he advised on financial system policy, researched labour market dynamics and forecasted economic activity. Dilhan completed a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School in 2019, supported by a John F. Kennedy Fellowship. He also holds degrees in psychology and economics from the University of Sydney.
