Dilhan Perera

Research Advisor

Dilhan is a Research Advisor working across the Home Affairs and International programmes. Before joining BIT, Dilhan worked as an economist and policy advisor at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Australian Treasury, where he advised on financial system policy, researched labour market dynamics and forecasted economic activity.

Dilhan holds a BSc degree in psychology and a BComm (Hons) degree in economics (both from the University of Sydney), as well as a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. During his Master’s, Dilhan focused on the application and evaluation of behavioural insights, and supported research projects involving the use of online and field experiments.
