Dr David Hume
Advisor
David is an Advisor within the Financial Behaviour team at BIT’s London office. His work at BIT involves projects aimed at supporting individuals in financially vulnerable situations. Before joining BIT, David first qualified as a chartered accountant which he followed with a career working in the financial services industry. David then pivoted to change management, working on major finance and regulatory projects for leading insurers.
His PhD in Business and Management from Warwick University used field data to investigate specific behavioural influences on different aspects of property transactions. He also holds an MA in Social Science Research and an MSc in Behavioural and Economic Sciences from Warwick; an MBA from Bayes Business School and BA in Chemistry from Oxford University.
