Dr Tiina Likki
Tiina is a Principal Advisor working across BIT’s European portfolio, with specific expertise in gender equality, organisational behaviour, and employment policy. She is passionate about data-driven and evidence-based approaches to creating social impact and improving organisations. Tiina is an internationally recognised speaker and works with policy makers as well as corporate clients across different sectors. Tiina is the founder of the Gender and Behavioural Insights (GABI) programme bringing together UK government, a number of large corporate partners and academics to rigorously evaluate company practices to improve gender equality.
Previously, Tiina led BIT’s work on employment and welfare policy in the UK, including the design and roll-out of a national scheme to help unemployed people with disabilities and health conditions. Prior to joining BIT in 2014, Tiina taught social psychology at the University of Lausanne and helped set up a think tank in Finland that introduced behavioural economics to Finnish public policy. Tiina holds a PhD in social psychology from the University of Lausanne, and a MSocSc and BSocSc from the University of Helsinki.
