Dr Erin Lawn

Research Advisor

Erin is a Research Advisor in our Sydney office, working across the research and policy teams. She joined BIT in 2021 after completing her PhD at the University of Melbourne, where she specialised in personality and social psychology with a focus on ethics and prosocial behaviour.

Erin is passionate about improving human and animal welfare, and has applied her research skills across a diverse range of policy areas such as employment services, social housing, work health and safety, underage drinking, and paid parental leave. Her expertise lies in designing and analysing quantitative and qualitative studies that inform the development and evaluation of behaviourally informed solutions to practical problems. Erin has also participated in several behavioural insights (BI) workshops and panels, and provided ongoing BI capability building and support to government partners.
