Joshua Kurniawan

Joshua is an Advisor in APAC International Team. He has worked across a range of policy areas such as vaccination uptake, domestic violence, illicit wildlife consumption, and tax compliance. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Behavioral and Decision Sciences. During his master’s program, he worked on incorporating behaviorally informed solutions in the health, energy, and financial sectors. His research looked at how to employ quantitative measures to assess the strength and consistency of academic papers and published reports from various behavioral consulting firms worldwide, which aims to better inform academia and practitioners about reliable sources to use.
Before joining BIT, Joshua has worked in a number of industries including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, consumer goods, and e-commerce start-up.
