Associate Research Advisor
Juliane is an Associate Research Advisor in the Research and Evaluations team. She works across a variety of policy areas and has particularly enjoyed the international projects that she has worked on. Prior to joining BIT, Juliane worked with Ideas42 in India on the intersection of behavioural and development economics, where she oversaw two randomised controlled trials: one on the reduction of chronic pain, and one on loneliness. Before this, Juliane worked at the Brookings Institution, where she explored optimism and well-being metrics in Latin America. She also worked in Colgate University’s investment office, helping to manage its endowment. Juliane holds an MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University and a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University.
