Leah Everist


Leah is an Advisor in BIT’s New York office, where she works across policy areas on using behavioral insights to improve the inclusiveness and effectiveness of programs that serve the public. Leah initially started with BIT on the Asia Pacific team, where she spent two years working with the New Zealand government on health, housing, and economic inclusion projects, including COVID-19 messaging and communications.

Prior to joining BIT, Leah was a Luce fellow and spent a year working in the disaster risk management sector in Nepal, focusing on building community preparedness for natural disasters and promoting social inclusion. She holds a BSPH in Health Policy and Management from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina.
