Senior Advisor, States
Leah is a Senior Advisor in BIT’s New York office, where she leads BIT’s portfolio of collaborations with US States. She works with leaders and teams around the country from a variety of policy areas on using behavioral insights to improve the inclusiveness and effectiveness of programs that serve the public. Leah initially joined BIT on the Asia Pacific team, where she spent two years working with the New Zealand government on health, housing, and economic inclusion projects, including COVID-19 messaging and communications.
Prior to joining BIT, Leah was one of 18 Americans to be awarded a Luce fellowship, and spent a year working on community preparedness and social inclusion in Nepal’s disaster risk management sector. She holds a BSPH in Health Policy and Management from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina.
