Maximilian Kroner Dale

Maximilian is a Senior Advisor at BIT Americas. His recent focus is on applying behavioral insights to online civic information ecosystems and reducing online harm caused by deceptive design. Other work includes working with cities to improve road safety, school enrollment, and COVID-19 vaccine uptake; helping insurers improve outcomes for members; and increasing comprehension of fees among investors.

Prior to BIT, Maximilian spent time at The Center for Advanced Hindsight at Duke University where he worked on projects related to financial decision making. He also studied smartphone use, notification bundling, and the economics of online attention markets. He graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Willamette University with a B.A. in Economics.
