Robbie is a Senior Advisor in the Productivity team. His work covers the areas of organisational behaviour, firm decision making, industrial strategy, international trade, and regional growth. Before joining BIT, Robbie worked at The Boston Consulting Group. His clients were in retail, media, and the public sector. On a long-term secondment from BCG, he served as chief of staff to the B20, the private sector advisory forum for the G20. He has worked for government at local and national levels in Australia and NGOs focused on economic growth and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Robbie holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Melbourne in Economics and Political Science and an MPhil in Economic and Social History (Distinction) from the University of Oxford. At Oxford, his research focused on the growth and resilience of Australian cities from 1971 to 2011.
