Ruth is a Senior Advisor in BIT’s International Programmes team. Her work focuses on supporting improvements in public service delivery in low- and middle-income countries and building capacity in the application of behavioural insights and rigorous evaluation.
Prior to joining BIT, Ruth worked as an impact evaluation field coordinator for the World Bank’s Africa Gender Innovation Lab in Nigeria. She also worked as an economist at the Ministry of Health in Burundi under the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship Scheme, where she focused on health financing and monitoring and evaluation in the health sector. Ruth studied Economics and Political Science at the University of Tuebingen and the University of Cape Town and holds a master’s in Economics from Oxford University.
