Sara is a Senior Advisor in the International Programmes team at BIT, based in London. Sara leads projects on immunisation, breastfeeding, nutrition, and mental health across Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. As part of BIT’s External Training team, Sara helps manage the training portfolio and delivers sessions on applying behavioural science to policy challenges, de-biasing decision-making and designing behaviourally-informed social media campaigns.
Before joining BIT, Sara worked at UNICEF in Jordan and Brazil, leading the knowledge management strategy for the Adolescents and Youth section and working on youth employment and training initiatives. She has extensive expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation, having worked as an international development consultant on projects related to youth employment, entrepreneurship, innovative finance, education and participatory action research for clients such as FCDO, the World Bank, Nuffield Foundation and Botnar Foundation. Sara has worked across multiple contexts, including Belgium, Brazil, Ethiopia, Italy, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru and South Africa.
