Martina Vojtkova

Group Director of Research, BIT and Nesta

Martina is the Director of Research for Nesta and the Behavioural Insights Team. She provides methods leadership across both organisations, driving social impact through research and evaluation.

Martina has worked extensively in social research and evaluation in the UK and internationally. Before joining BIT, she was on the executive leadership team of the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) where she directed the Policy Research Centre, leading teams of quantitative, qualitative and evaluation experts across a range of policy areas. Prior to that, she led NatCen’s Evaluation and Analysis teams and worked on a number of flagship evaluation projects for clients across government and the third sector.

Before NatCen, Martina worked at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) and the Campbell Collaboration. She is a trustee of the Social Research Association and a member of the UK Government Evaluation and Trial Advice Panel.
