Taya Jackson

Taya is an Advisor working in the Home Affairs and Education team. Taya’s work focuses on crime and policing. Since joining BIT Taya has worked on projects to reduce vehicle crime, improve probation processes and improve multi-agency working within communities.
Prior to joining BIT, Taya worked as a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service. Taya spent two years as a uniformed officer followed by one year as a detective, specialising in domestic and child abuse investigations. Taya holds a BA in Political Science with International Relations from The University of Birmingham.
