During the course:

Our day-long course is divided into five parts.

Part 1: Behavioral Insights Foundations Delve into the psychology underlying employee and customer behaviours, unravelling the core principles that drive decisions within professional settings.

Covers foundational behavioural science concepts such as: Dual Process Theory, biases and heuristics, choice architecture, nudge, sludge, boosts, and how these principles have been applied to business challenges.

Part 2: A Behavioural Lens on Business Challenges Uncover what it means to use a “behavioural lens” and how this new lens can address both internal and external business challenges. Understand how to visualise systems of behaviours and select high-impact behaviours to influence.

Covers concepts such as: behaviour mapping, decisions maps, and behavioural audits.

Part 3: Solution Lab – Diagnose Problems and Develop Solutions The Solution Lab equips you with practical methodologies, frameworks, and tools to diagnose your own organisational challenges through a behavioural lens. Apply behavioural insights to develop innovative and feasible solutions tailored to your real-world organisational hurdles.

Covers concepts such as identifying behavioural barriers, the COM-B model, and the EAST framework.

Participants will apply these concepts to their organisational challenge and receive instructor and peer feedback.

Part 4: Decision Mastery Explore the cognitive processes influencing decision-making while dissecting the psychological traps undermining sound business decisions. Analyse the nuances between individual and group decision-making, understanding sources of decision failures at team and organisational levels. Discover conditions fostering effective group decisions and strategies to enhance team judgement and decision-making processes.
