Alasdair Smith
Management Accountant
Alasdair is the Management Accountant in BIT’s Operations team. Previously, he was the Programme Manager for BIT’s Financial Capability Lab. Alasdair joined BIT in January 2019 after working in academic publishing, the U.K. Civil Service, and the hospitality industry. His civil service roles included Principal Private Secretary at the Scotland Office, designing Head Teacher Boards for the Department for Education Strategy Unit, and creating a Programme and Project Management function in the Child Poverty Unit.
Alasdair has a degree in History from Oxford University, and a Masters in War Studies from King’s College London.
