Mariana Bello

Mariana is Project Coordinator in the Home Affairs, Security and Education team, optimising project operations and resource management to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Previously, she contributed significantly to social welfare in Chile while working in the public sector. At FOSIS, she implemented a management model that supports 140,000 families annually, integrating Chilean social protection system benefits with citizen information using user-friendly data visualisations. During her time with the Ministry of Social Development, she led the redesign of services to enhance citizen experiences, including the creation of the Emergency Family Income, the most significant monetary aid in Chile’s history. Mariana holds an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Public Administration and Political Science from Universidad de Chile.
