Aastha Sethi

Aastha is an Advisor with the International team and is based in Mumbai. Prior to joining BIT, she worked for the University of Edinburgh where she helped setup the India office for
their international suicide prevention project and worked with various regional governments to influence policy change in this space. She also worked as a strategy consultant at the Chief
Minister’s Office in Mumbai, where she helped facilitate engagement between government and the private sector. She supported multiple departments in identifying crucial gaps in
implementation and capacity building for effective implementation of social development programs, primarily in public health and mental health.
Aastha holds a B.A.(Honours) in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and a Master’s in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
