Dr Jessica Barker
Jessie has been on the Energy, Environment and Sustainability team since July 2019, and is working on projects encouraging sustainable consumption as well as on building the team’s conservation portfolio. Prior to this, she spent a year as an Associate Research Advisor on the Social Capital team. Before joining BIT, Jessie held research fellowships at Aarhus University in Denmark and at the University of Arizona, where she studied the evolution of cooperation in both humans and insects. Jessie has an undergraduate degree in natural sciences (zoology) from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in behavioural ecology from Cornell University.
