Dr Patrick Taylor

Paddy is a Principal Research Advisor. He is Head of Research for our Home Affairs, Social Cohesion and Education team, supporting the design, improvement and evaluation of complex interventions in these fields. Paddy has a PhD from the School of Public Policy, University College London, investigating the effects of voluntary service on young people’s political capabilities, attitudes and behaviours.

Before joining BIT, he spent 10 years in the youth and education sectors, specialising in active citizenship and employability programmes for young people, with roles that included Head of Programmes at Envision and Director of Programmes and Impact at Youth United.
