Maddie Ossovani

Associate Advisor

Maddie is an Associate Advisor in our Sydney office. Since joining BIT, Maddie has worked on projects in the health and disability sector, applying behavioural insights to frontline services and delivering workshops to build staff capability.

Prior to joining BIT, Maddie spent four years as a secondary school maths and science teacher in Victoria, predominantly working in communities of low socioeconomic advantage. She is interested in social policy solutions that work towards educational equity in Australia. As an Associate of Teach for Australia’s Leadership Development Program, Maddie completed a Master of Teaching focusing on educational context and equity. As part of her study, she conducted an action research study investigating the role of metacognition in student self-efficacy toward problem solving in mathematics. Maddie also holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience from The University of Melbourne.
