Lydia is an Associate Advisor working in our Sydney office. Her work focuses primarily on public health, obesity, and financial decision-making. Prior to joining BIT, Lydia was a postdoctoral researcher in health psychology at UNSW Sydney where she studied the health and well-being consequences of experiencing obesity stigma. During this time, she also taught undergraduate social psychology.
She holds a PhD in social psychology from the University of Queensland where she examined how negative interactions between people from different racial or ethnic groups predicts racism and social change behaviours.
