Dr Georgina Bremner

Senior Advisor

Georgie is a Senior Advisor in the Economic Growth & Productivity team, with a focus on firm decision making, industrial strategy and organisational behaviour. Prior to joining BIT, Georgie worked for the National Health Service as a Clinical Psychologist. In her most recent role in a London NHS Trust, she worked with individuals, teams and the wider organisation to improve workplace conflict and culture as well as staff wellbeing. This involved implementing evidence-based psychological and behavioural interventions and evaluating their effectiveness.

Georgie completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London and for her doctoral thesis, she looked at the impact of anxiety on how adolescents make sense of social situations. Georgie also holds a Bachelor’s degree (first class) in Psychology, Philosophy and Physiology (PPP) from the University of Oxford.
