Sebastian Salomon-Ballada

Principal Advisor, International Programs

Sebastian is a Principal Advisor in the International Team. Since joining BIT in 2019, he has worked on a broad range of policy areas including gender equality, health and wellbeing, poverty reduction, employment, and financial inclusion. Sebastian has 6 years experience running social impact projects and has advised over 50 governments, government agencies, and social purpose organizations in applying behavioral science and evaluation to achieve sustainable development goals. Sebastian was a founding member of BIT’s Canada office and held leadership roles in the growth of our Latin America and the Caribbean team.

Before joining BIT, Sebastian worked on education, development, environment, and competition projects through research and consulting roles across the academic and private sectors. He holds an MPA from Brown University with a specialization in evidence-informed policy and a BA from the University of Toronto with majors in sociology and political science and a minor in psychology.
