Sebastian Salomon-Ballada

Senior Advisor, International Development

Sebastian is a Senior Advisor at the Behavioural Insights Team. He is a founding member of BIT’s Canadian office and currently leads applied behavioural science projects across the Americas, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. He has advised over 15 government agencies in the region on the application of behavioral sciences and rigorous evaluation to improve public services and deliver better results for citizens.

Before joining BIT, Sebastian worked on education, development, environment, and competition matters across research and consulting roles in the academic, non-profit, and private sectors. He holds an MPA from Brown University with a specialization in evidence-driven policy and a BA from the University of Toronto with majors in sociology and political science and a minor in psychology.
